Reading Group

If you enjoy reading and discussing literature please read on for more information about the St Agnes Reading Group

The group currently has eight members, and we are going to take it in turns to choose a book and lead the discussion on it. We're planning to go for very different books to cover a wide range of things so that everyone reads books they might not usually read.  The discussions will be on set dates at the Vicarage at 8pm.

Wednesday 26th November at 8pm  Dissolution by C J Sansom

Wednesday 4th February        The Undercover Economist by Tim Harford

Incidentally, I hear there's a second-hand books sale at the Birmingham Midland Institute from 10am on 10th January if anyone's interested. I suspect Rich and I will be popping in there!

If you are interested in our Reading Group you may also find the Culturewatch website interesting.  The website examines issues in the media from a Christian angle and might be a useful starting point for discussion.
